Your tooth whitening consultation
Before tooth whitening treatment can proceed, our dentists are required to assess your oral health to ensure you are suitable for this cosmetic procedure. We will explain the whole process with you including your options if you are unable to have tooth whitening treatment.
After your initial consultation and if we are happy with the condition of your teeth and gums, our dentists will then take an impression in order to create custom-made trays. These are like mouth guards or gum shields which hold the whitening gel that fit perfectly over your teeth.
In-chair whitening, home whitening or both?
Toothbeary offer Pola whitening that can be applied at home or in the practice using an in-chair product which is quicker than most other professional whitening options. Our dentist will first apply the gel and show you how to carry out the procedure including explaining all the risks, so that you are confident if you wish to bleach your teeth at home.
