What to do following a tooth extraction?
If your teenage son or daughter has just had a tooth extraction treatment, we advise to keep them away from physical activity for the remainder of the day. Make sure they get enough rest and ensure that their head stays in an upright position to prevent any further bleeding.
We also recommend they steer clear of hot meals and beverages until the anaesthesia has worn off, and be mindful not to bite their cheek or lip area, or rinse it out in the first 24 hours.
