Children's saliva testing

Why choose Toothbeary for your child’s saliva analysis?

Children's saliva test in London

Your child’s saliva acts as a barrier to protect their teeth. It neutralises harmful acids, which can dissolve minerals in their teeth and weaken them. If your child does not produce enough saliva, has high levels of bacteria in their mouth, or if they snack frequently, then the tooth mineral is lost and cannot be replaced. Unfortunately, teeth do not repair themselves and are therefore vulnerable to tooth decay and cavities.

A saliva test allows us to spot when your child’s saliva is not sufficient and enables us to predict dental decay as early as possible. Toothbeary will draw up an individual prevention plan.
