Why choose Toothbeary for your child’s oral hygiene?

Children's tooth decay treatment in London

Tooth decay is among the world’s most common health problems and is an increasing concern for children in the UK. In fact, tooth decay in children is now considered to be the most common childhood disease.

Tooth decay is damage to a tooth caused by dental plaque which turns sugars into acid. Increased levels of plaque can lead to issues such as cavities (also called tooth decay or caries) and gum disease.

Cavities are permanently damaged areas in the hard surface of the teeth that develop into tiny openings or holes. Cavities are caused by a combination of factors, including bacteria, frequent snacking, sipping sugary drinks, and insufficient or irregular cleaning of the teeth.

Decay can be symptom free and may only be identified by your dentist during a routine examination. If decay is already visible in the mouth and your child is experiencing pain, then the decay has likely reached deeper levels and your child should see the dentist immediately.

Tooth decay treatment review from Google Business

“My son has weak teeth and has bad decay on two teeth at the back of his mouth. The nhs would only remove them under General. Which we obviously didn’t want to do at only 2 years old. After doing research toothbeary stood out by a mile.

From the first appointment the toothbeary team are kind, helpful and experts in little teeth. My son was sedated and we had 2 crowns on his back teeth. The team made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen and we had a 24 hour nurse who we could call after the appointment if we had any concerns.

The team were great and my son recovered amazingly well. Two weeks later all seems well. My son will never love the dentist but he loves the waiting area and it’s definately less scary than your usual nhs or adult private dentist.

We will definitely continue to take my son there for check ups and any future work. Of course it’s not cheap but it’s not crazy money either. Costs are on the website and there weren’t any hidden charges.”
