From the minute you and your child walk through the doors of our wonderful Richmond practice, you will realise Toothbeary is like no other dental surgery you have been to. Not that we have exclusivity on welcoming, friendly receptionists but we are fairly unique in having a play room instead of a waiting room!

And like everything else at Toothbeary, the waiting area has been designed exclusively with children in mind with a large climbing frame and games and books to divert even the most anxious of young patients.

Our treatment rooms are equally welcoming; instead of intimidating dental chairs they are fitted with benches above which are video monitors with a choice of distracting, child-friendly films! Instruments are kept subtly out of sight and quiet, air-powered drills are always used. We also have Inhalation-Sedation machines available.

Another unique concept is our preventative care spa where our nurses carry out the important “Oral Health Education” plan prior to treatment with a hygienist or dentist. In the relaxing, spa-like atmosphere, children receive guidance on how to care for their teeth along with the gift of a new toothbrush and cherry flavoured dental floss.
